With a book and a tattoo.......

I am never really any good with these things, I kind of feel like I am at a job interview. So let's see, what can I tell you about me and my little blog thingy? Ok well I am an avid reader and have been doing since I first learned how. About a year ago I became a part of the review world. I am in no way a professional and I pretty much do it for the fun of it. I have no rules and no guidelines for myself, well except for I always have to be completely honest. And you can tell by my reviews that I have posted so far that I have no problem at all with that. I add my personality to every review and I know things don't always make sense but I bet you laughed(hopefully). I usually stick to romance books but I have been know to pick up others if the cover and synopsis garb my attention. I currently help out on a couple blogs and reviews teams plus I am an occasionally guest reviewer on one.

To tell you about me well, I am a 30+ year old stay at home mom. I went completely blind about two years ago. But with a couple of eyes surgeries I now have complete vision back in one eye. I have a serious weakness for tattoos and I am currently proudly showing off 12 of my own. Yeahhhh, so that's it for now.

Trust Me? #1 by K E Osborn

Trust Me? - K.E. Osborn
Ok so I finished this book over a week ago. I sat down to write this review more than once and every time I did, I would just go blank. So I got to sit down and reread this book. Which I was happy about because I remembered that i really liked this book. As I began my journey through this again, I had to stop and check and make sure this was the same book. And there I sat, shaking my head and asking myself, "What just happened?"

We meet Jenifer who is apparently just waking up on the wrong side of the bed. It is a definite Monday for her. First she's moody, there's a hot half naked stealing all her milk and then on her way to work she gets rear ended and spills her coffee all over her new shirt. I honestly feel this girls pain. Little did she know that, that little bump in the rear has just completely changed her life. Jeni, sweet sweet Jeni, what can I say about you? I loved her spunkiness and her clumsiness lol. But the "oh poor me" routine got old. I completely understand why she was like this, been there done that. But jeez give up on it for a bit. Her little fantasy zone out moments were great at first but then I started to wonder if maybe she had narcolepsy and should seek medical attention. Now on to Aiden. He is the one who helped in the little fender bender that brought these two together. They meet again at her job and it was instant swoonage on both parts. Now he was definitely all swoony and apparently has god like sex. But beside those qualities and the fact that he is very protective of Jeni, well there wasn't much else to him. When they first start seeing each other, he was kind of stalker like. He all told her he knew everything about her but he kept a lot of himself still secret. I think maybe he is still hiding something from her, not sure. But oh god, when these two got together I felt like I was in a teen movie. The ooey gooey lovey dovey text and the way they talked to each other, it was cute but in a teen way. I know he is 28, but how old is she? She really acts more like a 19 year old at times. Now the sex was pretty freakin' hot, if I do say so myself. I liked that stuff a lot lol.

I did like the story. Ok well actually the story was ok, but a little past halfway it got a lot better. The lead up to all the good stuff took a bit. There was some laughs, love, heartbreak and my favorite in it all was the mystery. I did hate that you may have already been given the answer to it all but I am hoping there may be a huge plot twist in the next book. As I read this book, I kept telling myself that something was wrong with the writing but it took me reading it a second time to realize what it was, This book is lacking flow. It was very choppy for me in the beginning, it really doesn't start to smooth out until about half way. Than after that, it got really good. I will say that I hated seeing Jeni broken again. You got to see her strengthen and grow to all of a sudden become this broken almost lifeless doll. I may of hated it but it completely fit the book and her character. And it did help a lot in the story. I was very torn with this book. The characters were lacking for me and the writing was so so. But I am telling you, the last few chapters and all that stuff that happened, well it hooked me. I seriously can not wait to read the next book in this series.

My song for this book: #1 Crush by Garbage (A little bit darker than what I was looking for but the lyrics fit the last half of the book.)
